Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Rice
- Cook 1 cup of rice according to package directions. Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Beef
- In a large skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, diced onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and onion is tender.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, molasses, bouillon, and water. Mix well.
Step 4: Combine & Simmer
- Pour sauce mixture into the skillet with beef.

Step 5: Add Fruit & Finish
- Fold in drained mandarin oranges gently.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
