Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine (melted)
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Layer Two:

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping (thawed)

Layer Three:

  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 pkg chocolate instant pudding (large box)
  • 1 pkg butter pecan instant pudding (large box)

Layer Four:

  • whipped topping ( for garnish)
  • Chopped nuts ( for garnish)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Make the Crust

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine melted margarine, flour, chopped nuts, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  • Press mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely.

Step 2: Prepare Cream Cheese Layer

  • Beat together confectioners’ sugar, softened cream cheese, and whipped topping until smooth.
  • Spread evenly over cooled crust.

Step 3: Prepare Pudding Layer

  • In a large bowl, mix both pudding packets with 3 cups cold milk.
  • Spread evenly over cream cheese layer.

Step 4: Finish and Chill

  • Top with remaining whipped topping.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
