Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cranberries (fresh )
  • 15 oz golden raisins
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp orange peel (grated )

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prep Ingredients

  • Wash cranberries and remove any stems.
  • Grate orange peel and set aside.

Step 2: Begin Base Mixture

  • In a 3-quart saucepan, combine raisins, orange juice, water, lemon juice, and sugar.

Step 3: Dissolve and Simmer

  • Place over high heat and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Add Cranberries

  • Add cranberries and return to boiling.
  • Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated and berries begin to burst.

Step 5: Finish & Cool

  • Remove from heat and stir in grated orange peel.
  • Cool completely and store in a covered jar in the refrigerator.
