  • coarse salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (freshly ground, to taste)

  • 4 tsp yellow mustard seeds (toasted )
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup grainy mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped )

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Salmon

  • Rinse salmon fillets under cold running water.
  • Feel for and remove any pin bones.
  • Pat dry with paper towels.

Step 2: Season the Salmon

  • Brush the skin side with olive oil.
  • Season both sides with coarse salt and black pepper.

Step 3: Make the Glaze

  • In a bowl, whisk together mustard seeds, mayonnaise, grainy mustard, dill, salt, and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Heat the Grill

  • Preheat the grill to medium.
  • When ready to cook, brush oil over the grill grate.
