  • 1 cup soft bread cubes

  • ½ cup American blue cheese (crumbled)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare Meat Mixture

  • Soak 2 cups bread cubes in ½ cup milk.
  • In a large bowl, combine soaked bread, 2 pounds ground beef, ¼ cup minced onion, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper, and 2 eggs.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Pat meat mixture into an 8×14 inch rectangle on a double sheet of foil.

Step 2: Prepare Filling

  • In a skillet, sauté minced celery, mushrooms, and onion in butter until softened.
  • Remove from heat and add 1 cup soft bread cubes, chopped parsley, and crumbled blue cheese.
  • Mix well.

Step 3: Assemble Meatloaf

  • Spread filling evenly over the meat rectangle.
  • Carefully roll up the meatloaf using the foil, securing it tightly.

Step 4: Bake
