Ingredients
- 3 boxes Dream Whip
- 1½ cups crushed pineapple
- 1 lemon (Juice of)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 angel food cake
- 2 env gelatin
- 4 tbsp cold water
- 1 box shredded coconut
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Gelatin Base
- Mix cold water with gelatin.
- Add 1 cup boiling water, sugar, lemon juice, and crushed pineapple.
- Chill until partially jellied.
Step 2: Prepare Whipped Cream
- Whip 2 envelopes of Dream Whip according to package directions.
- Add to the jellied gelatin mixture and mix well.
Step 3: Assemble the Cake
- Tear angel food cake into small pieces.
- In a pan, alternate layers of cake and gelatin mixture until full.
Step 4: Chill and Set
- Let the pan chill overnight in the refrigerator.
Step 5: Finish and Serve
- Next morning, turn cake onto a flat plate.
