Ingredients
- ½ cup butter (softened)

- ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and combined.
- Gradually beat or stir in flour and salt until a dough forms.
Step 2: Chill the Dough
- Divide the dough into 7 equal balls.
- Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours.
Step 3: Prepare the Filling
- In a small bowl, combine the walnuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
Step 4: Roll Out the Dough
- On a floured surface, roll one dough ball into a 6-inch circle.
- Lightly brush the surface with water.
- Sprinkle about 2 tsp of the walnut mixture evenly over the circle.
Step 5: Shape the Cookies
- Cut each circle into 8 wedges.
- Starting at the wide end, roll up each wedge to form a crescent.
- Place cookies point-side down on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 6: Bake

Step 7: Finish and Serve
- Cool on wire racks.
- Roll cooled cookies in powdered sugar before serving.
