Cake:

  • 1 pkg Pillsbury Plus Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 3 eggs

Glaze:

  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp margarine
  • 2 tsp milk (plus more if needed)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare Pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Grease and flour a Bundt pan.

Step 2: Make Cake Batter

  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, almond extract, cherry pie filling, and eggs.
  • Blend at high speed for 2 minutes.

Step 3: Bake

  • Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 40–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 4: Cool

  • Cool cake in pan for 25 minutes.
  • Turn out onto a plate and allow to cool completely.

Step 5: Make Glaze

  • In a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips, margarine, and 2 tsp milk over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar.
  • Add more milk if needed for desired glaze consistency.
