- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 1 tsp horseradish
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- 2 hard-boiled eggs (minced)
- buttered bread crumbs (for coating)
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Base
- Melt butter in the top of a double boiler.
- Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly.
Step 2: Add Flavor
- Add parsley, lemon or lime juice, mustard, horseradish, and salt.
- Stir to combine.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- Gradually stir in milk.
- Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Step 4: Add Eggs & Crab
- Add minced hard-boiled eggs and crab meat.
- Stir well to combine.
