- 2½ tbsp Tia Maria
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp instant coffee (dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water)
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
Instructions
Step 1: Prep Nuts and Liqueur
- Toss together chopped pecans and 2 tsp Tia Maria. Set aside.
Step 2: Beat Eggs and Sugar
- In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy.
- Add sugar and beat until well combined.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients
- Stir in melted butter, Tia Maria, dissolved coffee, and melted chocolate.
- Mix well.
Step 4: Add Nuts
- Stir in the soaked pecans.
Step 5: Add Dry Ingredients
- Stir in flour and salt until just combined.
Step 6: Bake
- Pour batter into a greased and floured 9×13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
