- 12 oz whole kernel corn ( 1 can, drained)
- 1 can ripe pitted olives (sliced)
- 1 can mushrooms (lage can, drained)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch oregano
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- salt (to taste)
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 cup small shell macaroni
- 1 to 2 cups grated cheese (for topping)
Instructions
Step 1: Sauté Vegetables
- Chop onion and bell pepper
- Sauté in 2 tbsp bacon drippings until softened
Step 2: Cook Beef
- Add ground beef
- Cook while stirring for 10–15 minutes until browned
Step 3: Add Base Ingredients
- Add tomato sauce and tomato soup
- Stir well to combine
Step 4: Add Vegetables & Seasoning
- Stir in peas, corn, mushrooms, and olives
- Add bay leaf, oregano, chili powder, and salt
Step 5: Simmer
- Let mixture simmer briefly to blend flavors
Step 6: Cook Pasta
