Ingredients
  

  • 3 oz Jello (any flavor)
  • ¾ cup water (boiling )
  • ½ cup water (cold )
  • 1 pkg cake mix (preferably white or yellow)
  • 1 env whipped topping mix
  • 1 pkg instant pudding (vanilla recommended)
  • cups milk (cold )

Instructions
 

Step 1: Dissolve Jello

  • Dissolve the Jello in ¾ cup boiling water.
  • Stir in ½ cup cold water and allow to cool completely.

Step 2: Bake the Cake

  • Prepare cake according to package directions.
  • Bake in a 9″x13″ pan at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.
  • Cool completely.

Step 3: Poke the Cake

  • Using a fork, poke holes all the way through the cooled cake, about 1″ apart.

Step 4: Add the Jello

  • Pour the cooled liquid Jello evenly over the cake, making sure to fill holes and cover all areas.
  • Refrigerate while preparing topping.

Step 5: Prepare Topping

  • In a chilled bowl, blend 1 envelope whipped topping mix and 1 package instant pudding with 1½ cups cold milk.
  • Beat for 3–5 minutes until thick.

Step 6: Finish the Cake

  • Spread topping evenly over chilled cake.
  • Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
