Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
- Cream together lard and brown sugar.

- Press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Topping
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar and beaten eggs.
- Add vanilla and salt, mixing well.
- Stir in coconut, puffed rice cereal, and chopped nuts.
Step 3: Assemble and Bake
