Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 1 Large onion (Chopped)
  • 3 cans Green chillies (Chopped or diced)
  • 1 can pinto beans (Rinsed and drained)
  • 1 can Yellow hominy (Drained )
  • 1 can Kidney beans (Rinsed and drained)
  • 1 can Lima beans (Drained)
  • 43½ oz Shopped tomatoes (3 x 14½ cans)
  • 2 packs Lowrys taco seasoning
  • 1 pack Dry ranch dressing mix (* secret ingredient)
  • cups Water
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Cheddar cheese (To taste)
  • Green onion (Chopped, to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Mix the ground beef and the chopped onion and brown in a large pot.
  • Rinse the browned meat with hot water. You will get rid of the fat but not the flavor.
  • Add all the ingredients to the browned ground beef and heat on your stove on medium.
  • Let it simmer for 30 minutes after it comes to a boil.
  • Garnish with cheddar cheese or chopped green onion if you want to.

  • Opt for low-sodium canned beans and tomatoes to reduce sodium levels.
