Ingredients
  

  • 48 Hershey's Kisses
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup brown sugar (packed )
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cream Base

  • Beat shortening and peanut butter until well combined.
  • Add granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.

Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients

  • Add egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until well blended.

Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, blending thoroughly.

Step 4: Shape Cookies

  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  • Roll balls in granulated sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Step 5: Bake & Finish

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes.
  • Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
