Jeannie's Amazing Raisin Cake
This "Amazing Raisin Cake" is a moist, old-fashioned sheet cake filled with tender apples, chewy raisins, and crunchy walnuts, subtly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. The use of mayonnaise and milk gives the cake a soft, rich crumb, while the addition of baking soda provides a gentle lift. Baked in two round pans, it can be served simply or filled and frosted with whipped cream for a more indulgent dessert. A comforting choice for autumn gatherings or everyday treats, this cake blends pantry staples with classic flavor combinations.
