  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tomatoes (medium, peeled and sliced)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Bread

  • Remove crusts from the day-old loaf.
  • Cut the loaf lengthwise into 4 even slices.

Step 2: First Layer

  • Place one slice of bread on a platter.
  • Spread with mayonnaise and top with sliced tomatoes.

Step 3: Second Layer

  • Place a second slice of bread over the tomatoes.
  • Spread with mayonnaise and top with pickle relish.

Step 4: Third Layer

  • Add a third slice of bread.
  • Spread with mayonnaise and top with shredded lettuce.

Step 5: Top Layer

  • Place the final slice of bread on top to complete the loaf.

Step 6: Frost the Loaf

  • Soften the cream cheese with milk until smooth and spreadable.
  • Frost the outside of the loaf evenly.
