Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • ½ cup onion (chopped )
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 2 tbsp butter (or margarine)
  • ½ cup flour
  • 18 oz clam juice
  • 21 oz minced clams (2 cans)
  • oz shrimp (1 can)
  • oz crabmeat (or substitute with more shrimp)
  • 18 oz tomatoes (1 can, drained )
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 3 dashes red pepper seasoning
  • parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook Pasta

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Sauté Aromatics

  • In a large saucepan, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in butter over medium heat until soft.

Step 3: Make the Roux

  • Stir in flour and cook until mixture is bubbly, about 1–2 minutes.

Step 4: Build the Sauce

  • Gradually stir in clam juice, minced clams, shrimp, crabmeat, and tomatoes. Stir constantly while cooking until mixture thickens, about 5–7 minutes.

Step 5: Add Seasoning & Wine

  • Add wine and red pepper seasoning. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly until sauce is hot but not boiling.

Step 6: Serve

  • Serve sauce over spaghetti. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
