Ingredients
  

  • 1 9" Pie shell
  • 8 oz Sausage
  • 4 Egg (hardboiled)
  • 1 cup Shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1¼ cup Light cream or evaporated milk (undiluted)
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ⅛ tsp Pepper
  • 1 pinch Paprika

Instructions
 

  • Bake the pie shell for 7 minutes according to the instructions on the package. Do not prick the pie shell.
  • Cook the sausage in a skillet. Break up the large pieces. When cooked, put the sausage on a paper towel to remove the grease.
  • Hard boil four eggs and chop them when boiled.
  • Preheat oven to 350℉
  • Sprinkle the hardboiled eggs in the bottom of the pie shell.
  • Top the pie shell with the sausage and shredded cheese.
  • Combine the three raw eggs, cream/milk, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture in the pie shell on top of the sausage and cheese.
  • Sprinkle paprika on top.
  • Bake everything for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  • This quiche reheats well, if made in advance.
