Ingredients
  

  • 1 onion (medium , chopped)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 20 oz green beans (drained)
  • 10½ condensed tomato soup
  • 5 potatoes (medium, cooked)
  • ½ cup milk (warm )
  • 1 egg (beaten )

For Larger Servings Add:

  • ½ lb hamburger

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Prepare the Meat Mixture

  • Brown chopped onion in hot fat in a skillet.
  • Add ground beef, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked.

Step 2 – Combine Meat with Vegetables

  • Stir in drained green beans and condensed tomato soup.
  • Mix well and pour into a greased casserole dish.

Step 3 – Make Mashed Potato Topping

  • Mash cooked potatoes in a bowl.
  • Add warm milk, beaten egg, and seasoning (salt & pepper).
  • Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 4 – Assemble the Casserole

  • Spoon mashed potatoes in mounds over the meat and vegetable mixture in the casserole.

Step 5 – Bake
