  • 18½ oz white cake mix (1 package )
  • 2 egg whites
  • ¼ cup crème de menthe liqueur (divided)
  • cups water
  • 16 oz chocolate fudge topping (1 can)
  • 8 oz whipped topping

Instructions
 

Step 1: Mix Cake Batter

  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg whites, 1/4 cup water, and 2 tbsp crème de menthe.
  • Beat for 2 minutes at high speed with an electric mixer. Reduce speed and beat on low for 1 more minute.

Step 2: Bake the Cake

  • Pour batter into a greased 13x9x2-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let cake cool completely in the pan.

Step 3: Add Fudge Layer

  • Spread chocolate fudge topping evenly over the cooled cake.

Step 4: Make Mint Whipped Topping

  • Combine whipped topping with the remaining 2 tbsp crème de menthe.
  • Mix until smooth.

Step 5: Frost and Chill

  • Spread mint topping over the fudge layer.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Cut cake into squares.
