Ingredients

  • Oat Bran – 1 cup
  • Quick Rolled Oats – 1 cup
  • Unsalted Sesame Seeds – 1/4 cup
  • Shredded Coconut – 1/4 cup
  • Wheat Germ – 1/4 cup, toasted
  • Nuts – 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Cardamom – 1/4 tsp
  • Nutmeg – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp
  • Peanut Oil – 1/2 cup
  • Egg – 1
  • Egg Whites – 3, beaten
  • Brown Sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla – 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Spread on bottom of ungreased pan.
  3. Mix other ingredients with fork or whisk.
  4. Pour over oat mixture.
  5. Bake 30 minutes at 350° in a 9″ sq pan.
  6. Cut in squares.
  7. (Low cholesterol oat bran)
