Ingredients

  • Extra virgin olive oil – 2 Tbsp
  • Garlic cloves – 3 sliced
  • Veggie or Chicken broth – 6 cups
  • Crushed tomatoes – 28 oz can
  • Italian seasoning – 1 tsp
  • Onion salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
  • Pasta shells – 1/2 lb
  • Cannellini beans – 38 oz, rinsed and drained
  • Parmesan shredded

Instructions

  1. Heat oil on medium high heat.
  2. Add garlic, cook 1 minute.
  3. Stir in broth, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, onion salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in pasta.
  6. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 10-11 minutes.
  7. Stir in beans.
  8. Cook until heated through.
  9. Garnish with cheese.
